We stayed in Type A cabins for 3 nights. Filthy, cob webs everywhere, floor/walls were sticky. The kitchen was stocked with the bare minimum. The top bunk bed had no rail and made it unusable for the kids.
Good rooms, chill staff, great weather, free fire wood. Can't complain about much! I just wish the cabins could be rented for 2 nights instead of the minimum of 3.
My steak tasted like bad breath and the smell of wet dogs, definalty not worth the $30 for a 10 Oz. ribeye. And it's doesn't even have 24kr gold flakes in it for that fortune. I'll give er 2 starts because the iced tea is real good and the pickle chips n dip are good too

The kitchen had sufficient dishes, pots, pans, utensils, stove, fridge, freezer and your own "BBQ" to prepare your meals.The owners and staff always friendly and accommodating. We were steps to the beach, mini golf, visitors centre, the ice cream store and mini mart. A short drive to fishing pier and the water slides. We cooked some meals but also took advantage of the restaurant on property. Food and service also great.They offer accommodations options, if you want or need air conditioning their hotel rooms offers that... For us we choose the cabin, no air conditioning BUT we had a breeze most nights. The extra space was more important to us. Went down this past weekend for a wedding. First time ever in the area. Had a beautiful view of the lake from our cabin. Our cabin was exactly what we wanted and the free firewood was a welcome bonus. Food was good in the restaurant as well. Girlfriend forgot her earings that she got from her great grandmother. When I called to see if they can mail them to us i Was told there would be a $24 mailing fee. I didn't feel as though that was fair considering we spent $500 over the weekend. The manager gave us a call back and told us that I was misinformed by one of his staff. Told us they would send it to us without having to give them the money. Was nice to see we got a proper response staright away. Thank you to the manager for taking care of it for us. Also recommend bringing a fan or two for the cabins. Had a great time and special thanks to Collette for lending us her mini front desk fan for the night. That is what hospitality is all about...
